We are the Power Management Group in the Communication System & Infrastructure Global technology stream. We are a bunch of highly motivated and skilled engineers that love our work and use our creativity and tools to design, develop and maintain a strong HW and SW infrastructure for the Embedded System that is scalable, affordable and allows quick development and installation of functionalities.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally in a team to specify the behavior and develop applications that help to optimize electrical consumption, increase battery life and save fuel at vehicle. Working in a team, you build use case scenarios, develop application with System thinking & risk management capability.

On a typical day, you will

  • Specify functions for optimizing the electrical consumption of the Vehicle which will increase the battery lifetime.

  • Involved in the function roadmap reviews.

  • At the truck, troubleshooting and experiencing the features.

  • Validating the use case scenarios for the functions

  • Talking with your colleagues around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Creating requirements for ECU’s and components.

  • Reviewing the supplier designs.

  • Interacting with Tier 1 suppliers

  • Work with System Architects, other component owners & verification engineer.

  • Work with brands (VT, RT, Mack and others), GTO (production), AMT (After market) etc. 

  • Working with cross functional teams to gather requirements and address them in the Technical Requirements.

  • Functional Safety and Cybersecurity process management for HW’s you are responsible.

  • Securing right quality and cost on deliveries from suppliers.

Competence

  • 9 + years of experience in Automotive ECUs and associated Electronics product development.
  • Working Knowledge on controllers with Power PC,ARM architectures ,etc.
  • Knowledge on EE architecture. Classic & Adaptive AUTOSAR SW platform.
  • Knowledge on communication protocols like Ethernet, CAN, LIN etc.
  • Strong experience at Vehicle Level.
  • Strong Experience with supplier development and supplier management is a must.
  • Knowledge on Functional Safety & Cybersecurity is a must.
  • Working with Agile teams and familiarity with toolchains like JIRA, is a merit.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
