We are 780 colleagues, committed to Delivering Excellence and actively promoting safety, diversity, continuous improvement, collaboration, people development and sustainability.

This is us, your new team:

Supply Planning and Dealer Inventory Management (SP-DIM) department has the key asset to manage both sides of the Supply Chain: challenging supplier performance and managing inventory at our dealers. This End to End responsibility enables the team to optimize the full Supply Chain. With nearly 4000 suppliers, more than 200 000 active part numbers and dealers across 146 countries, the playground is huge and taking the most benefit from all our data is key to optimize our flows. We are super active in developing by ourselves all the data tools we need. Continuous improvement is the backbone of our work and each team challenges itself to constantly improve performance. We are located in 12 sites, with a larger team in Lyon. We interact across continents among L&I but also with our colleagues from other Regions.

As a management team we place the individual at the center, promote development and secure a working climate where trust, inclusion, diversity, recognition and customer focus are strong foundations. With our Competence Center in India we aim to expand our Supply Planning workforce. The new team will contribute to manage our large supplier portfolio in close collaboration with the 6 other Supply Planning teams located in Europe. Our new Indian colleagues will be in charge to secure supplier performance towards our 2 European Central Distribution Centers that support a large scope of Volvo Group brands: Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Penta, Volvo Bus.
