We are looking to hire a skilled Cyber Security embedded software engineer to join our dynamic software team. As an effectie team member, you will be responsible for evaluating/executing complete cyber security  strategies and developing relevent certifications/documents with client hardware and taking part in requirement development, ESW development

Your Future Team :

Thermal Management is a department within Vehicle Technology responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining an optimized cab climate and vehicle cooling & heating systems for all types of propulsion installations to all truck brands within the Volvo Group. 

We are responsible for leading the work with strategies and advanced engineering globally. We are located at Gothenburg & Bengaluru, and we have close cooperation with the sites in Greensboro and Lyon. 

We understand the final customer needs and apply our knowledge to develop technical concepts and solutions that satisfy customer and business needs. The work is based on innovation, shared technology, common architecture, and brand uniqueness.

Mandatory Skills: 

• ME/Mtech/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science
• Minimum 10+ years of software development experience in Automotive Embedded SW development within the distributed systems & Thermal management and/or Relevant Automotive System
• Good knowledge in Embedded C, ASPICE Process
• Previous experience of working as CS engineer or CS architect with focus on embedded engineering. 
• Deep knowledge on Cybersecurity Concepts & Solutions e.g., Public Key Infrastructure, etc
• Knowledge of TARA execution for complex systems, Security Risk Management and Threat Modelling.
• Knowledge within cybersecurity requirements & system/software engineering. 
• Previous experience in secure coding practices and cryptographic algorithms in embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Certificate Life cycle Management, Certificate Authority Management, In-vehicle PKI Implementation is meritorious.
• Experience in agile methods is meritorious
• Experience of working in multitenant (HPC) environments.
• Experience in hands-on control Software development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
• Excellent knowledge of coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
• Critical thinker.
• Strong documentation and writing skills.

Adequate knowledge:

• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
• Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
• Knowledge of the product development life cycle and change management activities for maintenance are required for this role.
• Leading tasks independently, good planning and monitoring skills.
• Experience in future technologies (e-MOB, Fuel Cell, automation) in Software Development
• Good in compiling and presenting information verbally and in writing.

• As CS Engineer you will focus on technical aspects of security solutions and lead the work with conceptual CS solutions and Vehicle architectural topology.
• You will write high level cybersecurity attribute requirements and provide guidelines for allocation of requirements on ECU level.
• You will also have the opportunity to work with the latest cybersecurity solutions according to the state of the art, and collaborate with experts within this domain. 
• Developing System Software Requirements, Developing timeplans/roadmaps
• Take full responsibility and independently deliver the planned tasks as well as guide junior analysts within the software team.
• Driving Functional/Non functonal Diagnosis logics software systems
• Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Integrate and validate new product designs.
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance.
• Provide post-production support.
• Interface with hardware design and development
• Support cross functional Teams with control logic and AI/ML implementations.
• Contribute with component and system engineers to define and verify the actions agreed related to virtual simulation in FMEA, to reduce the probability of failure occurrences.
• Establish a strong network with global counterparts and cross functions.
