What You Will Do
Within the Compact Equipment Business Unit of Volvo Construction Equipment, you will lead the Electrical & Electronic Systems (E&E) team at the Belley (01) site.
- You will be responsible for the development, integration, and validation of E&E systems for our compact machines, ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of the delivered solutions.
- You will play a key role in building the product and service roadmap, anticipating customer needs, and proposing innovative solutions.
- You will foster cross-functional collaboration with production, purchasing, suppliers, and other group sites, while supporting the skills development of your team.
- You will actively contribute to achieving the strategic ambitions of the Compact Business Unit and Volvo CE.
- You will support your team in delivering expected outcomes, monitor task execution, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- You will develop development synergies with other entities and sites within the Volvo Group.
Your Future Team
You will join a committed and multicultural team of about fifteen passionate colleagues, within a Technology department composed of eight divisions spread across several international sites.
Who Are You?
- You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or equivalent.
- You have proven experience in team management (hierarchical and/or cross-functional) and in the development of E&E systems in the automotive or industrial equipment industry.
- You are able to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary and multi-site environment.
- You demonstrate unifying leadership, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to structure, arbitrate, and prioritize.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English.
