This is a great opportunity to bring your HGV or LCV Technician skills and experience to a highly innovative global brand in the world of commercial vehicles, Renault Trucks, who manufactures, distributes, and markets a complete range of trucks and vans across our network of dealerships. You will work closely as a team to ensure that work is completed efficiently, promptly and with excellence in quality.  

 

Renault Trucks is proud to announce the upcoming launch of our cutting-edge electric vehicle technology's second generation of Renault Trucks E-Tech models as well as announce the opening of a dedicated three-bay LCV workshop in February 2024, specialising in servicing, repairing, and maintaining both EV and ICE vehicles.

 

We are currently looking for HGV / LCV Technicians to join our busy Bellshill site. Its an exciting time to join as we are investing in the site as well as our Team. We have recently installed a Modula lift; automated vertical tray for spare parts and are looking to add another bay. You would be joining an friendly experienced team, collaborating with shift supervisors and our accomplished HGV Technicians.  We foster a welcoming environment, supporting newcomers, apprentices and seasoned colleagues alike.  

Who are you?

You will have experience and be a qualified HGV Technician with an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will be good at problem-solving and diagnostic skills along with having good initiative and being a team player. You should hold a full valid UK driving License, an HGV license would be positive but if you do not have one yet, you are eager to attain one.

What you'll do:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures
  • Working to the highest standards surpassing manufacturer’s and VOSA standards
  • Fast and accurate fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Communicate with the Shift Supervisor to ensure that you have valid job specifications and time budget before work commences.
  • Following company processes by completing all relevant paperwork
  • Completing thorough safety checks and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Ensuring product knowledge and skills are maintained to company requirements.
