What you will do
Volvo Financial Services (VFS) Southeast is seeking a dynamic and strategic Insurance Manager to lead our insurance operations across Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary. This newly created role is pivotal in shaping the future of our insurance offerings and driving sustainable growth in a highly regulated and evolving market.
You will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
You will lead the development and execution of insurance strategy across Southeast Europe and collaborate with local and global stakeholders to optimize product offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications required to be successful in this role include:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in insurance, with a proven track record of building scalable systems; experience in the financial services industry is advantageous
- Experience in the full insurance operations lifecycle – from sales, underwriting to claims – is appreciated
- Abilities in creating and maintaining clear step-by-step procedures, process maps, and documentation so the team can work consistently and scale easily
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and regulatory frameworks to ensure all operations meet global compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals with minimum supervision
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Data visualization tools and RPA technology is considered an asset
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English; additional languages a plus
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with exposure to various business settings
- Integrity and unquestionable ethics
