You will be part of GTO Cab and Chassis team where trust, curiosity, and performance are important cornerstones.
Our team consists of highly engaged and talented colleagues located in France. Our target is to secure and co-develop the product-Process solutions covering Bourg-en-Bresse assembly plant products.
The co-development will be carried out in close cooperation with Colleagues in the Production Sites but also with Product development and shared to your counterparts in GTO (USA, Sweden and India). The collaboration possibilities are boundless.
We are committed to improve quality, efficiency, and flexibility of our deliveries. We strive also to improve our processes in manufacturing. We are responsible for developing/supporting the competence growth needs ahead. Thus, our focus is both on existing products and processes. Industry 4.0 and the new electronic architecture related to Electromobility, Connectivity, and TEA2+ (T2;T3) are also prioritized areas.
Job Description:
Do you love challenges in a rapidly changing environment and want to define the future together with an awesome team?
If yes, your responsibility will be to co-develop, verify, and approve all product modifications related to the Powertrain installation for Heavy Duty Renault products.
On top of that, you will support the plant for GTO and in collaboration with Group Trucks Technology.
Being actor in this team you will use your engineering skills all along the different phases: functional specification, design, development, validation, and industrialization before the deployment of these deliverables in the production line.
Specific tasks may involve troubleshooting and investigation on some product modifications since your development will go in parallel with product changes already planned in the product roadmap.
You will be asked to work with Agile processes and engineering standards to maintain efficiency, ensure the best possible performance, quality, and robustness of our products.

Required knowledge/experience
- Master’s in engineering (mechanical engineering or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, prior to or after graduation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge in AGILE methodology
- Product knowledge and virtual manufacturing skills
- Holistic view and good Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Official language is English; hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing.
