We are now looking for someone who can help us continue this journey and in addition lead the way for coming Product Cyber Security standards.

What you will do

As a FuSa & PCS Leader, you will play a key role in driving and ensuring Functional Safety (FuSa) and Product Cyber Security (PCS) throughout the entire development process. You will be the strategic and operational force that ensures our products meet relevant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality targets — from concept phase to launch and beyond.

You will be part of a small local team where you will be representing the software domain , and part of our Global network of FuSA/PCS experts where you will get support, share best practice and handle assessments together. 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the work within functional safety in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. EN ISO 13849, 61508).
  • Ensure that PCS processes are implemented, followed, and continuously improved.
  • Drive risk analyses, safety assessments, and safety planning in close collaboration with development teams and project managers.
  • Act as an expert advisor on FuSa and PCS matters for the organization.
  • Lead safety reviews, audits, and assessments, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
  • Train and coach the organization in FuSa and PCS methodologies to strengthen the overall safety culture.

Software systems AAH department consists of 60 developers divided into eight agile teams that are mainly based in Braås, 25 minutes from Växjö. We are a global team and in addition to Braås we have teams in Bangalore India and Wroclaw Poland. The department are responsible for all machine software for our market-leading Haulers.

You have experience from work with FuSa and/or PCS, and you are confident in converting standards to requirements, to clear actions and realistic plans. As a person you combine deep technical understanding with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
 

Qualifications

  • M.Sc/B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience from working with FuSa and/or PCS within automotive, industrial, energy or medical.
  • Confident in understanding and interpreting standards.
  • Structured, analytical, and confident in making decisions based on data and risk assessments.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • You take responsibility and ownership of your deliveries

 

It is meritorious to have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of relevant FuSa and PCS standards (ISO 13849, 61508, Machine regulation,CRA or equivalent on-road standards)
  • Experience in Software development
  • Good communication skills in Swedish
  • Experience in project management
