Under the Volvo Group Australia umbrella are well-known brands such as Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, Volvo Bus, Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Financial Services. This role will work for Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV), who are the primary commercial vehicle distribution centre’s for Volvo Trucks and Buses, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks.
What you will do
At Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Gold Coast, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Handle customer service-related queries
- Manage customer invoicing, purchase orders and warranty claim preparation
- Ensure receipting and system data input of all workshop invoices is correct and up to date
- Offer occasional support on the front counter, including answering calls, making bookings and creating job cards.
- Manage warranty parts inventory for claims
- Create and manage vehicle service schedules for contract vehicles
- Work closely with workshop supervisors to esnure job quality, timeframes and warranty items
- Provide general administration support for the Administration Supervisor.
Your future team
You will be working as part of the team at our dealership in Carrara, supporting our maintenance workshop and valued customers. We’re a close knit team and we are looking for someone who takes initiative, builds relationships easily and can join us on our growth journey. You’ll be working Monday to Friday with hours approximately 7am-3pm, however there is flexibility with start and finish times. Minimal overtime may be required, particularly at month-end. Any overtime worked is paid at time and a half for the first three hours, and double time thereafter.

- Experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive industry
- A head for numbers, you are very comfortable in excel and can pick up new computers programs easily
- Excellent communication skills
- A customer service attitude
- An eye for detail and great time management skills
- The ability to update or outline new processes and procedures
