The IT Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams. The role is responsible for identifying business needs, translating them into clear functional and technical requirements, and ensuring that IT solutions effectively support business objectives.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
- Collect, analyze, and document business and IT requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with IT teams (developers, architects, testers) in the group level
- Support system design, configuration, and solution validation
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for system changes
- Participate in planning, execution, and defect management
- Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and delivered solutions
- Support data analysis, reporting, and system integrations
- Contribute to change management and end-user training
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, security, and governance policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
- Experience with business process modeling
- Familiarity with databases and system integrations
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, Power BI
