What you will do

As the FCA Manager, you have the overall responsibility for Financial Control & Accounting in Morocco for IFRS accounts, local accounting, and compliance. Together with your team, you will have the responsibility to further develop our financial processes, tools and ways of working as well as drive projects and business development activities. You and your team will be instrumental when it comes to developing our function and our impact in the business going forward. Your main responsibilities include:

• Continuously develop and coach your accounting team and foster a dynamic working environment.

• Lead the accounting team to deliver exceptional accounting services in accounting payable (PtP), accounting receivable (OtC), and general ledger accounting (end-to-end reporting).

• Secure quality, timely month-end closing and reporting based on group deadlines and instructions, adhering to legal and IFRS requirements.

• Hold responsibility for tax topics with the administration including tax returns, transfer pricing execution.

• Be responsible for financial statements according to local GAAPs.

• Oversee statutory audits and managing external audits.

• Partner with the business and all TD/BA to support E2E transactional flows.

• Play a proactive role in coaching and advising the TD/BA and CMT within Volvo Morocco in accounting and compliance topics.

• Coordinate internal control processes, implementation, and follow-up.

• Drive proactively the digitalization journey.

• Lead the FCA Strategic orientation in Morocco.

• Providing ad-hoc analysis and participating in the implementation of new processes and systems.

• Set up and improve accounting processes and robust work procedures within the local team, with Accounting Services as well as with businesses.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• You hold a university degree in finance or accounting.

• You have worked in multi-national companies You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role with managerial experience
