GENERAL ACCOUNTANT / COMPTABLE (6 Months Contract)

What you will do
At VOLVO MAROC you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Manage monthly and annual closings, including preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet & P&L)
- Ensure accurate and timely tax declarations (VAT, Corporate Tax, local taxes)
- Handle end-to-end accounting processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards
- Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures
- Support internal and external audits when required
Profile
- Strong accounting background with hands-on experience in P2P, O2C, and R2R processes
- Good knowledge of tax compliance (VAT, IS, local taxes)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a structured and deadline-driven environment
