Responsabilités
We are looking for a Procurement professional to lead and optimize purchasing activities in alignment with Volvo Group standards.
The role involves deploying procurement strategies locally, defining category strategies (technical parts, services, logistics, IT, marketing, and indirect spend), and identifying cost optimization levers such as TCO, supplier consolidation, renegotiation, and framework agreements. The position is also responsible for building and driving the annual procurement action plan in line with business priorities.
You will manage tenders and supplier consultations, ensuring compliance with Group processes, and lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms (pricing, lead times, SLAs, penalties, and ESG clauses). You will secure contracts in coordination with Finance and Legal teams while ensuring operational continuity, particularly for aftersales and network activities.
The role also includes sourcing and qualifying suppliers in line with Volvo’s quality and ethical standards, implementing supplier performance management (quality, cost, delivery, compliance), conducting regular business reviews, and driving continuous improvement. Building strategic partnerships to support innovation and operational excellence is key.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, After Sales, Finance, HR, IT) to define needs, challenge specifications, and ensure alignment with procurement policies, while promoting a value-driven procurement culture.
In terms of performance management, you will monitor key KPIs such as savings, budget compliance, supplier performance, and contract coverage. You will provide regular reporting to Management and contribute to budget planning and cash flow optimization.
Finally, you will ensure compliance with internal policies, Group standards, and local regulations, mitigate legal and financial risks, integrate ESG requirements, and support internal audits and controls.
