The Warranty Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all warranty operations,
ensuring accurate claim processing, compliance with OEM policies, cost control, and high
customer satisfaction.
The role acts as a key interface between workshops, dealers, technical teams, and the OEM
to drive warranty performance and continuous improvement.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Manage end-to-end warranty claim lifecycle (submission, validation, approval,
recovery).
• Ensure compliance with Volvo warranty policies and procedures.
• Monitor claim quality, turnaround time, and approval rates.
• Handle complex or escalated warranty cases.
• Control warranty costs and recovery.
• Analyze warranty trends and identify margin leakage.
• Support budgeting and forecasting related to warranty spend.
• Train dealers/workshops on warranty processes and documentation standards.
• Provide operational guidance to improve first-time-right claims.
• Act as the main warranty contact for the retail network.
• Define and track KPIs (claim acceptance rate, cycle time, cost per claim, etc.).
• Produce regular performance reports and dashboards.
• Drive corrective action plans with underperforming sites.
• Collaborate with technical teams on recurring failures.
• Feed field data back to Volvo for product improvement.
• Support campaigns, recalls, and service actions.
• Ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation and internal controls.
• Enforce standard processes across the network

Education / Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in warranty, aftersales, service operations, or automotive/truck industry.
• Experience managing dealer networks is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and financial understanding.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Solid knowledge of workshop operations and technical diagnostics.
• Advanced Excel / reporting tools (ERP / DMS experience preferred).
