What you will do

At Volvo Financial Services, you will coordinate the accounting and regulatory compliance area for the Central Bank, supporting Volvo Financial Services group companies — including the Bank, Consortium Management, Insurance Broker, and Rental Company.

 

  • Lead a team of 10 professionals, fostering development and high performance.
  • Ensure timely review and reliability of the group’s accounting balances.
  • Lead monthly results presentations to the board.
  • Review and enhance operational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory documents required by the Central Bank (CADOCs, Annual Census, SCE-IED, among others).
  • Monitor changes in IASB and Central Bank standards, ensuring compliance and continuous updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements in BRGAAP and IFRS.
  • Support external and internal audits, SOX, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Conduct accounting, regulatory, and risk analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Capital Management, Basel, ICAAP, and risk indicators, ensuring the financial and regulatory health of the group’s companies.

You will join a highly skilled and collaborative finance team responsible for ensuring financial reliability and compliance across multiple business areas. Based in Curitiba, this on-site role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and contribute directly to the financial integrity and strategic direction of the organization.

Who you are

 

We are looking for a professional with proven leadership and deep expertise in financial institutions and accounting processes.

 

  • Proven ability in team leadership and performance management.
  • Solid experience in Financial Institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of balance sheets, financial statements, monthly closing, and risk management.
  • Proven experience in Regulatory Capital, Basel, and ICAAP management.
  • Analytical, proactive, and problem-solving profile.
  • Fluent or advanced English (mandatory).
  • Active CRC (Brazilian Accounting Council registration) required.
