What you will do
At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
As a Junior Business Controller within Volvo Buses Latin America, you will support financial and business performance management by transforming data into meaningful insights and contributing to fact-based decision making.
You will work closely with Business Controllers, and operational stakeholders, supporting key financial processes such as monthly performance follow-up, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. You will also participate in financial analyses aimed at identifying business opportunities, risks, and performance improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
• Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
• Monitor and analyze business performance, identifying deviations and explaining financial impacts.
• Contribute to forecasting and budget processes, ensuring high-quality and reliable data.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and performance follow-up materials.
• Support profitability, cost, and operational performance analyses.
• Assist in the development and automation of reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Ensure data quality, transparency, and compliance with Volvo Group financial guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within Finance and Business Control.
Your future team
You will become part of a highly collaborative Business Control team within Volvo Buses. Our team works closely with Commercial, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other business functions to provide valuable insights that support strategic and operational decisions.

You have a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across different areas. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or finishing graduation until Dec.2026 in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Previous experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Business Analysis, Accounting, or related areas (internship experience may be considered).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and transform data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing, automotive, or industrial business environments.
• Knowledge of data automation and reporting solutions.
