What you will do
- Lead the development and execution of a new insurance business model focused on heavy trucks, creating solutions for currently uninsured or underinsured fleets
- Define and implement the Volvo-focused insurance strategy, identifying market opportunities and new revenue streams, initially in Brazil with scalability potential
- Structure and develop strategic partnerships across the ecosystem, including OEMs, dealers, fleet operators, and other key partners
- Translate untapped data sources and analytics into innovative insurance products and value propositions
- Own the full product lifecycle, from concept design and pilot execution to scaling and commercialization
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data, Risk, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure integrated solutions
- Develop executive-level presentations, business reviews, and strategic materials to support leadership decision-making
- Transform business performance, operational results, and risk insights into clear, structured narratives for senior stakeholders
Your Future Team
You will work as a strategic individual contributor within the insurance and business development structure, reporting to a Director and collaborating closely with Data Scientists, Actuaries, Operations, and Commercial teams, as well as external partners across the Volvo ecosystem.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Strong experience in business development, strategy, insurance, or financial services
- Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and build new business models from scratch
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
- Experience working with data-driven solutions and translating insights into business opportunities
- Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without formal authority
- Experience with partnerships, ecosystems, and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
