What you will do:
The Coordinator of Financial Controlling leads a team of controllers ensuring the quality and reliability of financial reporting, forecasting, business cases evaluation and decision-support analysis.
The role is responsible for coordinating the financial closing activities, governance processes, internal and external audits, credit risk assessments and financial compliance requirements. It is also expected that you ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial control across the organization by integrating accounting accuracy, analytical depth, and business partnership.
Through data automation and process optimization, this role drives operational excellence, safeguards financial reliability, supports strategic decision-making, and drives continuous improvement in financial intelligence and governance.
What you will do:
- Lead, coach, and develop the controlling team, ensuring high performance and talent development.
- Coordinate monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, IFRS requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Act as the primary coordinator for internal and external audits.
- Drive automation initiatives, business intelligence solutions, and process improvements using Power BI, SQL, Python, and ERP capabilities.
- Support business units through financial analysis, scenario modeling, profitability assessments, and strategic decision support.
- Coordinate credit risk assessment activities, support credit committees, and monitor customer credit exposure.
- Develop and review business cases, investment evaluations, and resource allocation recommendations.
- Support implementation of new systems, financial tools, and transformation projects.
- Act as first-level approver for financial and controlling activities in accordance with segregation-of-duty principles.
- Build strong partnerships with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, HR, Treasury, and Accounting teams.
- Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to senior management and executive forums.
- Promote continuous improvement and VPS principles within the Finance organization.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial or Civil Engineering
- Solid experience in Controlling, Financial Planning, or Business Analysis, ideally within automotive, industrial, or heavy transport industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading small financial teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced English (oral and written).
- Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Python, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, financial governance, and internal control frameworks.
- High analytical capacity, leadership, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of VPS or Lean methodologies for process optimization.
