What you will do

As Director, Digital & IT for VFS Latin America, you will lead the regional execution of the digital and technology agenda, ensuring alignment with global strategy while delivering measurable business impact. You will operate as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, combining strong execution discipline with a clear focus on value creation, operational resilience, and customer experience. While driving customer success and profitable growth and alignment with the Volvo Financial Services 2030 Vision.

You will:

• Act as a strategic partner to the VFS Latin America leadership team on digital, IT, data, and technology matters.
• Translate the global Digital & IT strategy into a clear, prioritized regional execution roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the regional portfolio of digital initiatives, applications, and IT services, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with defined business outcomes.
• Ensure stable, secure, and compliant IT operations across all Latin America markets.
• Drive digitalization, automation, and data-enabled improvements to customer experience, operational speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure alignment with Volvo Group enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Manage the regional IT budget, investment priorities, and strategic relationships with key technology vendors.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
• Leverage data, insights, and market trends to anticipate opportunities and influence strategic decisions.
• Represent VFS in relevant internal and external forums, acting as a key ambassador for the Volvo Group.

This role requires a combination of strategic vision, strong financial acumen, and hands-on leadership to drive transformation and long-term success.

Your future team

• You will be part of the VFS Brazil Management Team, reporting directly to the Regional SVP, and working in close collaboration with business leaders across Global VFS.
• You will lead diverse digital and IT teams across Latin America, working in close collaboration with the global CIO organization and Volvo Group IT partners. Together, you will deliver reliable IT operations, scalable digital solutions, and continuous improvement in support of the VFS business.

Who are you?

We are looking for a visionary, results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Proven and extensive and progressive experience in Digital, IT, or technology leadership roles.
• Experience in financial services, leasing, automotive, or similar industries.
• Strong ability to translate business strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
• Proven experience in leading digital and IT initiatives in complex, regulated, and international environments.
• Comfortable operating at leadership-team level, with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Solid financial acumen, including budget management, investment prioritization, and vendor performance oversight.
• Recognized role models for ethical leadership, resilience, and collaboration.
• Strategic thinker with analytical mindset and execution discipline.
• Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish required.
• Willingness to travel across Latin America and globally as required.
