What you will do
As Project and Business Office Manager, you will lead the Manufacturing Engineering project portfolio and support the execution of the organization’s strategic agenda. The role covers industrialization and transformation projects, REMAN+ and Circular Economy programs, as well as CAPEX and R&D investment governance.
You will be accountable for portfolio prioritization, value realization, organizational development, and stakeholder alignment, translating business strategy into execution and sustainable results.

Key Responsabilities
- People Leadership and Organizational Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, strengthening critical competencies, individual development, engagement, accountability, inclusion, and succession planning.
- Project Office and Portfolio Governance: Lead the Project & Business Office and govern the Manufacturing Engineering project portfolio, ensuring clear priorities, effective resource allocation, risk management, and successful delivery of strategic and industrialization initiatives.
- Investment and Value Management: Govern CAPEX and R&D investments, including business case development, financial follow-up, prioritization, and benefits realization, ensuring measurable and sustainable business value.
- Strategic Transformation and Circularity: Drive the Manufacturing Engineering Master Plan and lead transformation, REMAN+, Circular Economy, and sustainability initiatives that support competitiveness and operational excellence.
- Stakeholder and Global Network Management: Represent Manufacturing Engineering in local and global steering committees and leadership forums, influencing decisions, securing alignment, and promoting collaboration and best-practice sharing across the global network.
- Change and Organizational Effectiveness: Lead organizational change and continuously improve governance, processes, resource utilization, and project management practices to enhance business performance.
To do that, it is important that you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- An advanced degree or PMP certification is considered an advantage.
- At least 10 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry is highly desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience in a people leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus
It is also important that you have:
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence local and global stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, strengthen critical competencies, and support succession planning.
- Strong portfolio and project management capabilities, including the leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives and competing priorities.
- Experience in CAPEX and R&D investment governance, including business cases, prioritization, financial management, risk management, and benefits realization.
- Strategic and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate long-term objectives into priorities, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to support decisions, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead change, challenge the status quo, and identify innovative solutions and business opportunities.
- High level of integrity, ownership, adaptability, and focus on customers, value creation, and results.
