Volvo Financial Services Brazil (VFS) is looking for an Insurance Analyst for a temporary, fixed-term position, to join our team in Curitiba, Brazil, and play a key role in protecting our assets and operations through well-managed insurance and risk solutions.

This is an on-site role in Curitiba, offering close interaction with internal teams and external partners, and real influence over how we protect and strengthen our operations in Brazil.
What you will do
As Insurance Analyst, you will help optimize Volvo Group’s insurance coverage, connecting risk protection directly to business continuity and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the optimization of Volvo Group’s insurance coverage, helping define the appropriate mix of insurance and self-insurance.
- Coordinating corporate insurance programs across multiple lines, including Life, Surety, Fleet, Liability, Cyber, D&O and Affinity.
- Negotiating insurance premiums, coverage and terms directly with insurers and/or through brokers, within agreed guidelines.
- Preparing specifications and evaluating bids for insurance broker and/or underwriting services.
- Coordinating renewal, quotation and endorsement processes with insurers and brokers.
- Analyzing and comparing proposals, ensuring technical and commercial alignment with business needs.
- Ensuring policy documentation accuracy and compliance with negotiated conditions.
- Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for insurers, brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring the policy lifecycle, including renewals, payments and operational controls.
- Contributing to continuous improvement in insurance processes, governance and reporting.
Who are you?
You are an analytical and organized professional who turns complex information into clear decisions. You communicate well, build trust with partners, and keep multiple priorities under control in a dynamic environment.
Your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- Solid experience in corporate insurance and policy management.
- Practical knowledge of multiple insurance lines (Life, Surety, Fleet, Liability, Cyber, D&O).
- Experience negotiating with insurers and brokers.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to structure and evaluate proposals.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive, organized and solution-oriented profile.
- Experience with tools such as Excel and Power BI is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
