Volvo Financial Services Brazil (VFS) is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner (P&C BP) to join our team in Curitiba, Brazil, and play a key role in strengthening our business performance through people, leadership, and culture.

This is an on-site role in Curitiba, offering close interaction with leaders and teams, and real influence over how we grow, lead, and transform our organization in Brazil.
What You’ll Do?
As People & Culture Business Partner, you will act as a strategic advisor and sparring partner to leaders, connecting people’s initiatives directly to business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as an active member of management teams, providing strategic HR advice and solutions.
- Aligning P&C strategies and actions with business goals and translating them into impactful actions.
- Leading talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Coaching and guiding managers to strengthen engagement, performance, and team effectiveness.
- Acting as Engagement Ambassador and Change Leader in organizational initiatives and surveys.
- Driving cultural transformation aligned with Volvo values and leadership principles.
- Supporting compensation, workforce planning and organizational development activities.
- Ensuring compliance and communication of P&C policies, directives, and legislation.
- Using people data and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Who are you?
You are a seasoned HR professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You build trust naturally, navigate complexity with confidence, and are comfortable challenging leaders to achieve better outcomes for both people and business.
Your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field (advanced HR qualification valued).
- Proven solid experience as an HR Business Partner in large, complex organizations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to coach leaders, manage change, and resolve conflicts.
- Skilled at handling sensitive information and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (such as SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar) is considered a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and HR database tools.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Comfortable working across cultures and virtual environments.
