What you will do

At Product & Project Management Team you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the people transport industry and society at large. You will: 
 

  • Lead the technical project group for large projects and represent technical area in the project management group
  • Lead and having full responsibility for implementation of product modifications projects
  • Define project plans and oversee its execution through robust milestones
  • Being a team leader for the project: Driving it with energy, passion and respect for each other
  • Ensure that the developed technical solutions are aligned with the company objectives and technical strategy
  • Cooperate with various sites within Volvo Group contributing to this development

 

Your future team

 

Our team composed of experience engineers and PM's focused on technology challenges will allow you to be involved on a dynamic environment tailored to ensure competitiveness of Volvo Buses’ transport offerings. We operate in an international context and interact daily with colleagues from other sites of the Group.

We are looking for the following skills:
 

  • Degree from engineering school;
  • Experience in managing or active participation on product development projects
  • A PMP certification or equivalent certification would be an advantage
  • Interest in new technologies and their integration in the people transportation sector
  • An analytical mind and a good ability to find the essence in complex matters
  • Positive and target oriented approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Business oriented mind set
  • Leadership skills and the ability to engage teams
  • Ability to work autonomously, are rigorous, and can manage uncertainties.
