What you will do
At Volvo Financial Services, you will be part of the Accounting & Regulatory Reporting team, supporting the Group’s financial services companies and contributing to a robust control environment, regulatory compliance, and high-quality financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform calculations, controls, and accounting activities related to Resolution CMN 4.966 (IFRS 9), with a focus on Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling, monitoring, and accounting records.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and disclosures required by the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN).
- Monitor and assess changes in accounting and regulatory standards issued by the IASB and the Central Bank, ensuring timely implementation compliance.
- Develop, review, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal guidelines in accordance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance activities, internal controls assessments, and regulatory inspections.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize controls, processes, and regulatory reporting activities.

Based in Curitiba, this on-site role offers the opportunity to work closely with the leadership and contribute directly to the financial integrity and strategic direction of the organization.
Who are you?
We are looking for a professional with proven experience in financial institutions and accounting processes.
- Solid experience in financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of balance sheets, financial statements and monthly closing.
- Experience in regulatory reports.
- Analytical, proactive, and problem-solving profile.
- Advanced English.
- Active CRC (Brazilian Accounting Council registration) required.
