What you will do
At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support our data productization journey. You will contribute on our global projects focusing on the development of data pipelines, along with data processing for visualizations and AI solutions.
You will:
Work on one of our global agile product teams focusing on delivering business value through digital products.
Contribute to enable new data-driven services working with Stakeholders throughout the organization, to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Support in building the infrastructure required for optimal ETL and ELT pipelines, from a wide variety of sources, whether on-premises or hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Work closely with data analysts to provide required data models and structures.
Your future team
You will join one of our Data Engineer's chapters in Curitiba-PR, Brazil, part of our global Data Engineer's community into Digital & IT Data function. Furthermore, you will work in the development of data solutions on a team under Analytics & BI - Product Data area.
Who are you?

- Academic degree from a relevant field of studies;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- High degree of responsibility, self-organization and self-motivation;
- Adaptability and ability to drive tasks by yourself and/or in a team environment;
- Agile and DevSecOps frameworks previous experience;
- Advanced ETL/ELT skills;
- Advanced T-SQL skills;
- Advanced data modeling skills;
- Very good Python programming;
- High level of experience developing pipelines on Microsoft Azure Data Factory;
- High level of experience developing solutions on Azure Databricks (pySpark, Spark SQL, Dataframes, Delta Tables);
Also, it would be nice to bring:
- Previous experience with Microsoft Power BI (PowerQuery, Semantic Models and Datasets);
- Previous experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse;
- Previous experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS;
- Data analysis experience.
