Specialist, Actuarial & Risk (Insurance Broker) – VFS Brazil

To take the Volvo Production System (VPS) to the next level within VFS Latin America, we are looking for a Senior VPS Specialist to be the technical and cultural reference for applying the VPS philosophy across the region.
You will play a key role in engaging and mobilizing teams across Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Mexico, accelerating our continuous improvement journey and directly connecting operational excellence to tangible business results.
What you will do
- Drive VPS maturity across all VFS processes, linking operational excellence practices to efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Own and scale Lean and Kaizen capability, training teams and ensuring practical application of VPS tools in areas such as Operations, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Customer Satisfaction, Insurance, Rental, Consorcio, and Digital & IT.
- Facilitate VPS workshops, diagnostics, and audits, supporting local and regional teams in progressing to higher levels of maturity.
- Translate KPIs into concrete improvements, connecting efficiency metrics (OPEX, productivity, portfolio quality, NPS) to VFS strategic ambitions.
- Act as a coach and ambassador of a continuous improvement culture, inspiring leaders and teams to consistently reach the next level of performance.
- Partner with management to co-create strategies and initiatives that drive operational efficiency across the region.
Your Future Team
You will be part of the VFS Brazil Insurance Broker structure, reporting to the Director, Insurance, and working closely with Commercial, Business Development, internal insurance teams, and external insurers.
Who are you?
You are passionate about operational excellence and want to make a tangible impact. We are looking for someone with:
- Solid experience with VPS and Lean (Manufacturing and Office), a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related fields, with a proven track record of Lean implementation in complex environments.
- Strong influencing skills to engage multicultural teams without formal authority, building credibility through expertise and delivery.
- Metrics-driven mindset, able to connect VPS initiatives to tangible business outcomes.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a strong advantage for regional work).
