Intern: Creative Content Communications (Fall 2026)

What you will do
- Supporting plant objectives in creation of videos, articles and materials – with validation of information through interaction with employees and Communications Team.
- Build on campaigns with creative writing, videography and photography to support journey to engage and create sense of Volvo Family
- Collaborate with Communications team, business teams and plant personal to accent/inspire positive Volvo cultural for better business results.
- Create and optimize engaging content by assisting, developing and creating media content
- Utilize MicroSoft bundles: Indesign, production software, basic knowledge of systems including PCs, photography, video and plasmas, printing and production of signs and banners.
- Skills and Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking.
- Ability to utilize photography, videography and to produce video for inhouse and social media.
- Ability to tailor communication style based on the platform and audience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism
- Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
- Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of professional Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube accounts, including advertising opportunities
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or Canva preferred, but not required
Who are you?
- Minimum Education Requirements:
Applicants must be pursuing a business, marketing, or communication at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the intern program. - Minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Fall interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
- Intern/Co-Op positions must upload an unofficial transcript when submitting an application as this is a requirement.
