What you will do

Maintenance Facilitator is responsible for activities within assigned areas, which includes Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environmental, and People initiatives through the effective utilization of all resources. This position will be required to work cross-functionally with Maintenance, Real State, Production, Services and other technical groups to improve the overall performance and reduce costs. Assist leadership, requiring effective coordination of personnel and all functional disciplines assigned to the respective area. This position will work within the VPS Focus Areas and WCM methodology used at NRV Plant.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a Facilitator, organizing the Maintenance Shop, leading 5S initiatives, managing spareparts, materials, consumables, and additional resources assigned by Maintenance Shift Managers or delegated representatives, including but not limited to Environmental related tasks
  • Utilize and support controlling and management of data and CMMS (IFS), collaborating withother functions to actively build the Maintenance Problem Solving machine
  • Execute, control and manage of advanced stocks, purchase orders, consumables and co-related functions
  • Conduct meetings and organize performance reporting (ex. Consumables)
  • Responsible for promoting and reporting employees’ ideas and suggestions, facilitating the VPS Continuous Improvement methods and Tools
  • Work jointly to achieve an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect
  • Collaborate with Skid/fixtures, Vehicle, Machining, Hazmat, advanced stocks, and designated functions related to resources management
  • Contribute with the “Quality in Station” and “Zero mindset” philosophies
  • Utilization of business data to address correctly any issues and perform improvements.
  • Collaborate and promote Problem Solving and improvement tools (ex. EWO, Kaizen)
  • Work closely with schedulers, buyers, fleet managers, storeroom personnel, programing, and support areas to guarantee volume delivery and great availability by proper Preventive and Proactive Maintenance strategy for parts and Professional Maintenance documentation
  • Utilize and promote EMAT/SMAT process, executing, delegating and follow-up actions

Minimum Requirements

Education: Associate degree related to mechanical or electrical field

 

Years of Experience:

  • Three (3) years of mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience with educational requirements;
  • OR
  • Eight (8) years of mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience without educational requirements.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Utilization of industrial systems
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry
  • Able to work all shift, as assigned

For this position, the base pay is set at $35.12 - $43.39/hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
