NRV Quality Technician - Plant 2

Role Summary

The Quality Tech position will be responsible for the quality of product being shipped to the production facility, perform quality audits, and escalate to achieve solutions.

Who are you?

Job Accountabilities

Must demonstrate the ability to perform weld quality audits

Must be able to achieve level 2 non-destructive testing certification

Must be able to read and understand technical drawings

Must understand root cause methodology

Ability to trouble shoot, investigate, and develop and implement corrective actions related to quality issues

Must have a general knowledge of welding processes

Proficiency in computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft products and quality systems

Other duties as assigned

Regular attendance is required

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering field or Industrial technology or 2 year welding certificate/degree OR

2 years of experience in automotive welding or body work processes with thin sheet metal / stamping environment

Must be able to work overtime as required, and work any shift and must be able to maintain regular and reliable attendance
