What you will do

Are you someone who loves Truck and Van Parts, from upselling to promotions to advising our customers on stock availability and prices and to providing essential support to the workshop technicians to  ensure they have the parts to complete their customer jobs?

Renault Trucks Chiltern (Dunstable) is looking for a dynamic and experienced Truck/Van Parts Supervisor to lead a team of five and work with the wider business to achieve RTC's KPI's.

This is a Monday to Friday on site role 07.00 to 16.30 (45 hours) and paying between £35,000 and £40,000 dependent on the right experience.

A full UK Driver's Licence is essential

Overview:

To manage the Parts Department in the most effective and profitable manner by maximizing sales, profit and customer service and reducing costs where appropriate. You will be required to ensure all Inventory KPI’s are met and sustained and to also effectively motivate and manage your team in a pro-active and professional manner, in accordance with the Renault Trucks UK / Volvo processes

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in HGV and/or Van Parts Inventory Sales and Stock
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor managing a team
  • Technical awareness
  • Strong IT literacy (MS Office (particularly Excel) ) and dealer system awareness
  • Able to identify different parts using catalogues and systems.
  • Numerical ability to be able to work with part numbers
  • Full UK Driver's Licence
