Sales Region International is a diverse and strategically important part of Volvo Construction Equipment, bringing together multiple markets across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Oceania and other international growth markets. The region operates through a combination of dealer and customer relationships, serving a broad range of industries, market maturities and business environments. About the role
As CFO for Sales Region International, you are a member of the Regional Leadership Team and lead the Finance and Commercial Management organization through four direct reports and a team of 35 employees.
As a trusted business partner to the Region, you play a central role in shaping strategy, driving profitable growth, and supporting transformation across a diverse portfolio of international markets. By combining financial leadership, commercial acumen, and strong business partnership, you help secure sustainable performance and long-term value creation.
Together with your team, you steer the regional finance and commercial management agenda, ensuring sound decision-making, financial discipline, and operational excellence. You provide the insights, governance, and forward-looking perspective needed to translate strategy into results, while driving continuous improvement across performance management, forecasting, and business follow-up.
The role also plays a key part in strengthening commercial execution, optimizing planning processes, and developing end-customer finance as a strategic enabler of growth. Through close collaboration with sales, dealer, and functional teams, you help improve competitiveness, profitability, customer value, and business performance across the region.

You will:
• Define and drive the regional finance and commercial management strategy
• Translate strategic objectives into clear priorities, governance and measurable actions
• Lead performance management, forecasting, budgeting and follow-up
• Provide financial analysis, governance and commercial support to regional leadership and key stakeholders
• Lead commercial processes and operational planning to improve competitiveness, profitability and execution quality
• Drive sales excellence through end-customer finance as a commercial enabler
• Build a high-performing and collaborative organization
Who are you?
You are a strong and experienced leader with a commercial mindset and solid business finance understanding. You are a trusted business partner who combines financial discipline with commercial thinking, and you know how to support regional leadership in driving performance, growth and sound decision-making. You are analytical, collaborative and business-oriented, with the ability to connect finance to the broader commercial agenda and create real business impact.
- Relevant university degree
- Senior leadership experience in finance, commercial management, or a related business role within an international matrix organization
- Strong understanding of financial performance management, commercial processes and business governance
- Proven ability to drive strategy, execution and business transformation
- Strong people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience from working in a matrix organization
- Advanced English skills, both spoken and written, with strong communication ability in an international environment
