You will be part of a team where we encourage having fun at work and where we believe in the power of teamwork. Our department, Product Maintenance is a part of the Powertrain function where we continuously improve our Powertrain systems to support building the world we want to live in. We in the Product Maintenance team have a large network of colleagues to who we on daily basis support with technical knowledge and solutions, our main workflows are field quality and production support.

 

Main activities and Responsibilities:
As project leader within Product Maintenance for Sourced Engines you will lead cross-function teams to support our internal and external customers and perform updates on parts and components when design changes are needed using Windchill/KOLA/Catia and Creo. A structured approach to problem solving with an appreciation of quality tools & techniques is needed and DMAIC is the method we use for our improvement work.
Experience from product improvement work, leading teams and performing in engineering environment is an advantage.


In this role it is also important to have an understanding and acceptance for the rapid change of priority and the impact this have on the planning.

Required knowledge, experience:

  • Engineering degree in a relevant knowledge area
  • An effective team player
  • Good leadership abilities
  • Good social and communication skills verbally and written
  • Fluency in English
  • Engine product knowledge is an advantage
