As our current Head of Sales Region International moves on to a new opportunity within Volvo Construction Equipment, we are seeking their successor. You will drive the development of sales across the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Oceania, and contribute to the success of Volvo CE as a whole. You will collaborate with colleagues driven by the idea that through imagination, hard work, and technological innovation, we will lead the way toward a cleaner, smarter, and more connected world.

About the role
As our Head of Sales Region International, you have responsibility for all aspects of the Total Commercial Offer and full responsibility for the region’s profitability and development across the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Together with your team, you will create the right conditions for people to get involved, grow, and develop with us. In this role you are required to balance the needs and expectations of all stakeholders: employees, customers, owners, and society.
Key Responsibilities and Ideal Outcomes
- Develop and execute the Sales Region International’s plans to sustainably grow and maintain market share as well as provide the best customer offer and experience across the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
- Develop new business models and embark on a transformative journey together with dealers and local partners.
- Collaborate closely with dealers to co-create and innovate business solutions for local markets.
- Focus on strategic, long-term initiatives to ensure and strengthen VCE’s overall strategic direction.
- Develop a healthy and attractive go-to-market strategy and plan for the International region.
- Foster a culture of care and collaboration to secure a safe workplace where people can thrive together.
- Continuously perform and develop in all dimensions (Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment).
- Drive the deployment of Volvo CE's philosophy and principles (Flow, Continuous Improvement, Perform and Develop) within the region and cross-functionally, with a true belief in people’s capacity and willingness to contribute and be involved.
About you
You are a truly commercially driven and grounded people leader. Ideal Experience
- Extensive leadership experience in commercial roles, with a proven track record of improving commercial performance. Experience in a leadership position within a dealership, as well as global exposure, will be considered highly advantageous.
- Experience developing and implementing operational and commercial strategies that deliver measurable financial and non-financial improvements, while maintaining high standards in people growth and involvement, health and safety, quality, and delivery.
- Comfortable navigating multicultural, international organizations and building long-term partnerships with suppliers, dealers, and customers.
- Skilled at building organizational capabilities and resilient teams, fostering sustainable value and growth.
- Consistent focus on sustainability throughout previous roles.
- You are a strong influencer and an excellent communicator, with fluency in English.
