Join us!

At Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), we are part of a truly global group with the construction industry as our arena. Together with our customers, we contribute to building the world we want to live in and to enabling a more sustainable future. Our organization is based on people and great teamwork. We rely on diversity, inclusion and collaboration across countries and functions, and we aim to create a workplace that brings out the best in everyone.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – Treasury to strengthen our Financial Risk Management and Treasury capabilities. In this role, you will work closely with Volvo Group Treasury, our global finance community, and several cross-functional teams to ensure robust financial risk processes and a sound capital structure across all Volvo CE legal entities. You will be a key contributor in turning financial risk insights into clear actions and recommendations that support our business.

About the role:

In this role, you will be the main interface between Volvo CE and Volvo Group Treasury on Financial Risk Management topics. You will play an important part in liquidity and FX management by monitoring limits, safeguarding governance and continuously improving our forecasting.

You will, among other things:

  • Coordinate the Financial Risk Policy exception process, including documentation, validation, and approvals.
  • Support newly established legal entities in implementing Financial Risk Management frameworks and processes.

You will also work with capital structure and balance sheet risks across Volvo CE. This includes monitoring and promoting appropriate capital structures for our legal entities, analyzing non-operational cash flows and their impact on our financials, and assessing and communicating financial risk effects on the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. In addition, you will lead the Pension Liability Network, monitoring Volvo CE’s pension risk exposure and its impact on financial statements.

Within governance, reporting and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), you will actively contribute to the ERM process and prepare Financial Risk Management input for Board materials. You will support M&A activities from a Financial Risk Management perspective and lead or participate in selected cross‑functional financial risk‑related projects. You will also provide advisory support to Group Accounting and Business Control.

You will collaborate with Volvo Group Insurance by supporting them with analysis of financial risk exposures and by calculating business interruption risk for determining insurance premiums per legal entity.

Finally, you will act as system owner for Volvo CE’s Financial Risk Management tools, such as 4C CFA and our commercial currency forecasting model. In this capacity, you will:

  • Manage user access and permissions.
  • Ensure continuous development and improvement of these systems and models.

Who are you?

You have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of treasury and financial risk concepts. You are comfortable dealing with complex topics, structuring them and translating them into clear, understandable messages for different stakeholders. You enjoy working cross‑functionally and thrive in an international environment, where you cooperate with colleagues across functions and geographies.

You take ownership of your responsibilities from analysis through to follow‑up, and you are able to balance attention to detail with a broader financial view. You can connect financial risk analysis to its impact on the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, and you are motivated by contributing to robust financial risk management and a sound capital structure for Volvo CE.

Your experience:

  • Relevant experience from finance roles involving treasury, financial risk, corporate finance or similar areas.
  • Strong analytical abilities and confidence in working with financial data, models and systems.
  • Experience from working in an international and cross‑functional environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
