As the Maintenance Planning & Fleet Health Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the operational excellence of our autonomous vehicle fleet. You’ll work closely with our maintenance planners, dealer network, and the Volvo Uptime Center to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and kept in optimal condition. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan and manage preventive maintenance for autonomous vehicles. 
  • Schedule service appointments with authorized dealers and coordinate logistics of the units. 
  • Track and follow up on service event completion to ensure minimal downtime. 
  • Update and maintain records in our maintenance management system (Fleetio). 
  • Support unplanned service events, collaborating with partners and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly. 
  • Communicate effectively with the Volvo Uptime Center, AD partners, Dealership network and other cross-functional teams.

  • Associate/bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Interest in autonomous vehicles, fleet operations, or transportation systems. 
  • Familiarity with maintenance planning tools or fleet management software (Fleetio experience is a plus). 
  • A proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $72,000.00 - $89,700.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
