What you will do:

At Advanced Engineering & Platform Studies, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. You will take part in the development of new transport solutions aimed at enhancing customer productivity and sustainability.

We are responsible of preparing future trucks and transport solutions for all brands and markets by managing and driving Advanced Engineering at Vehicle Engineering & Vehicle Technology.  

Suitable background:
Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Mechatronics Engineering
Knowledge of Computer Aided Design is required

Description of thesis work:
The thesis will consist of developing and designing an electrified trailer chassis in a collaboration between Volvo Group and a trailer manufacturer.

Expected results:

Aiding the trailer manufacturer in concept evaluation and producing a design based on it.
A discussion on how differing user applications affects the design of the chassis.

Thesis Level: Bachelor 15 ETCS
