Bachelor thesis- Designing a graphical interface for Energy Prediction and data analysis
Background
Electrified vehicles are a major focus and maximizing their efficiency is of crucial importance. In our team we are working towards creating digital service enablers for BEV trucks used by Volvo Group stakeholders internally and externally.
To support the development of more energy-efficient trucks, a graphical interface with integrated analytical tools is required. It is essential to understand different use cases and which data to provide to the end users. This will involve identifying the best ways to present data for statistical analysis, making it easy to interpret. Additionally, it will require designing a user-friendly interface that can be easily managed by the individuals with different areas of expertise. Another important aspect is to ensure that the application is fast and responsive to changes, enabling efficient analysis across various data types.
Scope
The work is for 15 ECTS, starting in the first quarter of 2025. The work will be conducted at Volvo Group Trucks Technology in collaboration with Chalmers University.
The work will include:
- Development of graphical interfaces
- Parameter optimization
- Research on aspects of the model
- Analysis of complex data types
- Physical laws and models
- Other connected activities.
