What you will do

At SML Service Development you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

As a Business Analyst, you will connect business and IT - transforming data into insights that drive smarter decisions across our global operations. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to shape strategies, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement across our global operations. By collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to product compliance, environmental impact, and quality performance, you will help ensure our strategies are both data-driven and future-ready.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support regulatory and quality experts with structured data analysis and reporting
  • Analyze processes and compliance data to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and monitor KPI/PI definitions and support target setting process to track progress and highlight trends
  • Visualize performance and use of facts for analysis & action taking, drive deployment of measurement structure
  • Contribute to digitalization efforts by automating data collection, validation and visualization processes
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge of process best practices and keep up to date with industry trends and IT advancements
  • Deliver concise insights and presentations to management and stakeholders

Your future team

You will be part of the Logistics Preparation, Quality, and Environment team — a global group of eleven dedicated experts with diverse backgrounds and competencies. Together, we create strong synergies to support the Service Market strategy and deliver value to our customers. Our mission is to drive and develop processes, set the vision and roadmap in the Service Market supply chain, and continuously improve how we work in an environment of rapid change.

Who are you?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:

  • Higher education with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with +5 years of experience in quality, service market logistics or supply chain management
  • Good business knowledge and understanding of process content through practical experience from working in the process as well as understanding of the E2E value chain perspective with process dependencies and interfaces to other processes are key enablers
  • Experience from the VPS concept and knowledge of methods and tools for problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualizations tools
  • Knowledge of business structure and IT systems is a merit
  • Fluency in English is required
