In Volvo Penta you will belong to the Corporate Strategy team organized within the Business Office. Our responsibilities are to facilitate strategy development and execution across the company, drive market and competitor intelligence, and facilitate a funnel of merger and acquisition cases. We work integrated with all internal units, to understand and identify how we can strengthen our strategic ambitions, as well as supporting in reporting and special projects.
The ideal candidates for the open position most probably have a skill-profile combining business acumen with strong analytic capability. You are structured, and very good at analyzing and compiling data and information into executive reports. You are a confident project leader and a good presenter. You will frequently present market intelligence to Volvo Pentas executive team, and to broader internal audiences.
Most of what we do can be planned and we foster a balanced lifestyle. However, in this position it is required to be flexible in taking-on peaks with high workload. You might have experience of this type of role or something related, e.g. management consulting. But most important are your drive and will to make impact and generate an outstanding result.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business intelligence at corporate level
- Develop executive reports and give presentations
- Strategy development tasks, investigations and initiatives
- Contributor in Volvo Penta Strategy Network
- Regarded as a great colleague – trusted, committed, good team player
Qualifications:
- University degree
- Strong analytical skill and a proactive approach
- Advanced in Microsoft applications
- Good presenter
- Fluent in English, both orally and written
