Role Summary:
The Global Headquarters for Volvo Financial Services is seeking a Business Solution Analyst for the Retail & Wholesale Digital Delivery Area of Volvo Financial Services VFS Digital & IT.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Solution Analyst & Solution Engineer who excels at bridge the gap between business and technology. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong business analysis capabilities, technical leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial services and contract management processes.
As a trusted partner to both business and IT stakeholders, you will lead the analysis, design, and continuous evolution of business-critical solutions supporting global Retail & Wholesale operations. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions while ensuring successful delivery across multiple markets and stakeholders.
Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management, the ability to facilitate decision-making across diverse teams, and a strong understanding of financial processes, contract management, and enterprise systems. You will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on solution leader, driving initiatives from idea to implementation and operational excellence.
As part of a stable and highly collaborative team, you will work closely with Digital Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Data Analysts, Vendors, Support Teams, and Business Leaders across the organization.
You will report to the Chapter Lead Solution Engineering - Retail & Wholesale.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the analysis, design, and delivery of business and technical solutions supporting Retail & Wholesale contract management and financial operations.
• Act as the key link between business and IT, translating business and finance needs into scalable solutions, technical specifications, and delivery plans.
• Facilitate workshops, solution reviews, and decision forums to drive alignment and clear outcomes.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend sustainable, value-driven solutions.
• Drive solution design across system configurations, integrations, workflows, data models, and architecture standards.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and drive effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Lead planning, prioritization, risk management, and dependency coordination across initiatives.
• Support agile delivery, testing, release management, and deployment readiness.
• Ensure high-quality documentation, governance, and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor system performance, stability, and service quality, driving continuous improvements across global operations.
Key Qualifications
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Business Solution Analyst, Solution Engineer, or Technical Business Lead within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to lead requirements engineering, business analysis, solution design, and international stakeholder management activities.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders, technical experts, and external partners.
• Strong coordination and leadership capabilities, driving alignment across multiple teams, functions, and geographical locations.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops, managing competing priorities, and driving decisions in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to structure ambiguity into actionable plans and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience working within financial services processes and business financial systems.
• Ability to understand end-to-end business flows and translate them into effective process and technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, data models, workflows, APIs, and system architecture principles.
• Experience working with SQL and data analysis to support business and technical decision-making.
• Practical experience supporting solution delivery, testing, release management, and operational support.
Preferred Experience
• Experience with Global Contract Management and Financial Services platforms such as Aryza, Alfa, Solifi, Sofico, FIS, Oracle Financial Services, or similar enterprise solutions.
• Background working within large multinational organizations and complex transformation programs.
• Experience supporting Retail & Wholesale financing operations or financial services industries is highly desirable.
• Experience with C#, .NET, SQL or similar technologies is considered an advantage.
