Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Cyber Threat Intelligence Liaison Officer to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence Centre (CTIC). This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our cyber threat intelligence team and various business areas within the organization by leading the engagement between the Cyber Threat Intelligence Center (CTIC) and Volvo Group’s truck divisions, business areas, and group functions.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy:
• Drive structured engagement between CTIC and Volvo Group truck divisions, business areas and group functions to understand their needs and explore how the Cyber Threat Intelligence Centre can support them.
• Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to stakeholders ranging from regular strategic briefings to targeted consultations—based on business context, threat exposure, and stakeholder maturity.
• Present and showcase CTIC initiatives, value propositions, and use cases to stakeholders across the Volvo Group.
Strategic Threat Communication and Change Management Enablement:
• Work closely with the Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to conduct forward-looking analysis and identify emerging threats and trends.
• Translate strategic and operational threat intelligence, such as threat actor activity, industry-specific trends, and emerging tactics, into insights relevant to Volvo Group’s context. Develop concise, high-impact communication products that inform risk discussions, support scenario planning, and foster executive-level awareness
• Collaborate with CDOs, TISOs, and other transformation leads to integrate intelligence-driven recommendations into business processes, controls, and investment decisions. Support awareness and adoption of threat-informed changes across risk, compliance, and continuity planning.
Alignment and Feedback Mechanisms:
• Gain a deep understanding of the organization's business processes, objectives, and challenges to effectively communicate the value of cyber threat intelligence, identify opportunities for collaboration and integration of threat intelligence into business strategies.
• Establish a structured feedback mechanism (e.g., thematic workshops, post-briefing surveys, strategic interviews) to assess stakeholder needs and perceived intelligence value. Use feedback to inform CTIC’s priorities and improve alignment between threat reporting and business concerns, ensuring the intelligence is actionable and improving the Group's security posture.
• Develop, implement and track KPIs such as Stakeholder satisfaction and relevance scores, Intelligence-driven changes to business posture, Quantifiable impact of averted risks or losses prevented
Professional Development and Threat Landscape Monitoring:
• Develop expertise on the job by engaging with CTIC analysts, internal stakeholders, and relevant threat intelligence sources. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, industry-specific risks, and general IT and OT Security trends through day-to-day work, peer interactions, and self-guided learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, risk management, or corporate security with proven stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate cyber risks in business-relevant language at senior levels.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat intelligence concepts and their application in a business environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on understanding business needs and translating them into actionable insights.
- Experience working in or with large multinational organizations and matrixed governance structures.
