What you will do
As part of Group Digital & IT, you will contribute to the digital transformation of Volvo Group, the transport industry, and society at large. In this role, you are the Digital Product Owner driving bottom line impact leveraging data and AI. Your mission is to, together with Volvo Penta and other stakeholders, enable measurable business value in one of our highest-impact areas—Warranty. You will:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of Warranty data products and analytics capabilities, from roadmap to outcomes.
- Translate strategy and product vision into a prioritized backlog, clear deliverables, and value-driven releases.
- Lead an established stable team as the functional leader, ensuring focus, alignment, and high delivery quality.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across Volvo Penta, Truck Brands, and internal Data & AI stakeholders—balancing needs, dependencies, and priorities.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions fit real Warranty processes and workflows, and are grounded in how warranty systems, claims handling, and decision-making work in practice.
- Contribute to ways of working, governance, and continuous improvement in a scaled agile setup.
Your future team
You will work with a high-performing team of data professionals, such as Data Architects, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers. You will collaborate closely with Digital Product Managers and business stakeholders, including colleagues at Volvo Penta.
The team and stakeholders are located across multiple sites, with Gothenburg as the primary location for this role.You will report to the Head of Data & AI Delivery for Business Areas.
Who are you?
You combine strong product leadership with a pragmatic delivery mindset—and you enjoy creating clarity in complex, cross-functional environments. You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and driving alignment towards outcomes.You bring:
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner / Digital Product Owner (or similar), preferably in data, analytics, or AI-enabled products.
- Proven track record in delivering transformational digital solutions .
- Hands-on experience with warranty processes and warranty systems, such as claims handling flows, failure/repair information, coverage rules, approvals, and warranty cost follow-up.
- Experience working in agile methodologies, preferably scaled agile (e.g., SAFe or similar).
- Strong understanding of analytics and data product concepts; experience with advanced analytics is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead delivery through others and to drive prioritization across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, cross-brand setting.
- Relevant university degree (or equivalent experience).
- Fluency in English.
