About us

‘Data’ is a function within Volvo Digital & IT with the goal to unlock the power of data for the full Volvo Group to become a fully data-driven company! With data as the core component of our transformation journey, we will, together with our data talents, make the Volvo Group 2030 vision happen. We will take care of all aspects of Data, including quality assurance, documentation, availability, preparation, and use through BI, Analytics, and Machine Learning supporting the organization with AI implementation process. We have an ambitious transformation ahead, with the implementation of the Data Layer in Azure and the reinforcement of Data Governance and Data Management across the entire Group.

 

We are looking for experienced Data Management Tool Experts to help us reform our Data Governance & Management practice and support our business by providing experience, support and guidance of tooling within this area. Our aim and your mission are to shape the strategic direction of the Volvo Group to become a data-driven company. In doing so, we will make quality-assured data available and stimulate its reuse and value across the value chain, while remaining fully compliant with legal and policy requirements. You will be an important ally to every organization who wants to invest in change within our data journey. 

Your Responsiblities Include

  • Perform technical maintenance & support of Informatica IDMC, focusing on Data Catalog and Data Marketplace modules.
  • Manage IDMC services catalog and offer guidance on optimal service usage.
  • Deliver foundational capabilities of Informatica IDMC, emphasizing Data Catalog and Data Marketplace modules.
  • Collaborate with vendor product management team to prioritize deliveries meeting Volvo Group needs.
  • Serve as Single Point of Contact for functional aspects of Data Management Tool Data Governance.
  • Manage Access Management policies for the Data Management Tool.
  • Plan, design, prepare, and conduct trainings.
  • Support Data Catalog and Data Marketplace deliveries and product development.
  • Assist projects and prioritize deliveries as team member.
  • Participate in user acceptance tests of new releases of Data Catalog and Data Marketplace modules.

Required skill set:

  • University degree, with a passion for data.
  • Hands-on experience with (preferably) Informatica IDMC or (alternatively) Informatica on-prem
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Catalog & Data Marketplace modules of Informatica IDMC or other tools
  • Full implementation cycle experience in Data Catalog & Data Marketplace modules.
  • Expertise in Data Governance & Management.
  • Experience in agile setups, using DevOps or similar.
  • Ability to oversee implementation activities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English for international projects.
