Foundational products
Foundational products create services for the whole Group. Our mission is to make life easier for development teams, hence improving their productivity. We do this by enabling them to leverage new technology, practices, and processes. That includes but are not limited to; Cloud, CI/CD, developer toolchains and automation.

What you will be doing
As Digital Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will play a pivotal role in defining, anchoring, and executing the Developer Experience strategy – a business-critical initiative to create a modern, AI-powered, and scalable development environment for the entire Volvo Group. By setting a clear developer experience strategy, driving collaboration, and improving support for development teams, we enable faster, safer, and more inspiring software delivery. You will also be responsible to establish a world class support process for the development teams trough automatization and AI to give the teams in the Group proffesionlized and fast support on Foundational Products services.
Within Foundational Products we build technical capabilities that has the potential to give value to the whole Volvo Group. As a digital product manager, you will help to realize that potential. Therefore, you also need to create awareness within the whole group of our offerings, this needs to be done with a clear strategy and through multiple channels. You will be creating the strategy and content as well as presenting to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the Developer Experience Strategy by setting a clear direction, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring alignment and adoption throughout the organization
- Develop a concrete and actionable plan for implementation and adoption and drive accountability for results.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between development teams, leadership, and support functions to build shared understanding and engagement around Developer Experience goals.
- Lead transformation within our area in close collaboration with our experts. The successful candidate will also evaluate and mitigate risks to ensure progress
- To spread the word of our products and drive adaptation the role will include marketing. Content creation as well as presentations is also part of the role, there will be a need for compelling stories to help anchor the transformation within Volvo Group.
- Collect and grasp vast amounts of data and condense it to a concrete message
- Strategize and execute plans to deliver a successfully towards stakeholders, ensuring key deliverables are met timeframes and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align program strategies and outcomes.
- Be up to date on latest technologies, as AI, that might support our transformation
- Lead the continuous improvement of the developer support process—ensuring it is as simple, automated, and effective as possible, empowering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, IT or equivalent
- Has experience leading strategic transformation initiatives within software development and developer experience.
- Deep understanding of software development and agile methodologies
- Experience of driving digital transformation
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Can translate strategy into actionable plans and ensure ownership for execution and adoption.
- Has a deep understanding of developer needs and challenges, and is passionate about creating an environment where support and tools truly make a difference.
