What you will do:
At Volvo Group Digital and IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will lead the digital product direction for Master Data solutions, with a primary focus on Customer Master Data. You will connect business needs with digital capabilities, align priorities across stakeholders, and drive outcomes across data quality, processes, and user experience. You will own the product backlog, define roadmaps and success measures, and steer value-based decisions across development, delivery, and support in a global setup.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and prioritize the digital product backlog for Master Data, from discovery to release and lifecycle improvements
• Lead stakeholder alignment and discovery (workshops, interviews, process mapping) and translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Define and drive the product roadmap, including measurable outcomes and KPIs for data quality and process performance
• Strengthen Master Data governance together with business owners and data stewards, including rules, issue triage, and decision forums
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, data engineers and integration teams to secure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions
• Drive adoption by supporting change management, training needs, and clear user communication in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Follow up on delivery performance and product health (incidents, defects, technical debt) and steer continuous improvements
• Ensure end-to-end alignment across upstream and downstream systems to enable consistent use of Customer Master Data across the organization

You will join our Master Data unit within Volvo Group Digital and IT, a global team working in an agile setup. The team brings a mix of experience and perspectives and collaborates across sites in Europe and Asia, close to both business and technology partners.

Essential requirements:
You have several years of experience in digital product ownership, business analysis, or a similar role, and you are comfortable setting priorities from problem to delivered outcome. You know how to capture needs, shape clear requirements, and build alignment with stakeholders across business and IT. You can plan and facilitate workshops and drive execution and follow-up. You have experience with validation practices such as user acceptance testing and you communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have:
Experience with Master Data Management and data stewardship, and tools such as Informatica (or similar platforms). Experience from automotive or industrial environments is an advantage.
