As the Executive Assistant to the SVP of Global Bus Technology, you will play a crucial role within our management team, ensuring seamless planning and coordination that fosters organizational flow. Your communication and problem-solving skills will be essential in our fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.  

 

You will also be part of the executive assistant network in Volvo Buses and play an important role in securing great collaboration, sharing best practice and keeping a close dialogue.  

 

Key responsibilities:   

Strategic Coordination: Oversee and follow up on plans and activities for the management team, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.  

 

Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SVP Global Bus Technology, including ordering, calendar management, event coordination and travel arrangements. 

 

Global Collaboration: Act as the primary contact for Microsoft 365, driving support and engagement across our global teams, addressing inquiries, and facilitating effective communication.  

 

Content Production: Create and proofread high-quality materials for presentations, articles, and other communications, ensuring clarity and engagement.  

 

Event Support: Assist in organizing events, workshops, and office activities, contributing to a vibrant workplace culture.  

 

Workspace Management: Oversee office space management, ensuring resources are organized and readily available to enhance workplace efficiency.  

  

Who are you?  

We believe that ownership mentality and service mind is in your backbone, and you like to work through networks. You have a can-do attitude and like challenges. You have great verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English and experience of working in a global environment.   

 

You are interested in how the business is performing and want to be engaged in the communication of Change management and Business information to internal and external stakeholders. You can create clear, compelling and engaging content.  

 

You have extended experience of Office 365 and experience from and interest in utilizing exploring smart tools and processes.  

 

We believe you have extensive professional experience as Senior Executive Assistant or similar roles and a minimum 3+ years administrative experience. University degree in Business Administration or equivalent is meriting. The position is based in Gothenburg, but you will be a member of a global organization and manage different time zones.
