We focus on developing and implementing innovative solutions in areas such as projection, navigation, entertainment and vehicle HMI. Our Android-based service and entertainment system is paving the way for new features that enhance entertainment, productivity, and uptime – opening entirely new business opportunities and partnerships. We are currently seeking a Group Manager to lead and develop one of our Entertainment and Connected Services Software groups into the future. 

 

The mission is to: 

 

  • Develop and maintain in-house software, including Android apps and Android evolution. 

  • Deliver software to projects and vehicle streams, meeting agreed QDCF targets. 

  • Lead and continuously develop team members to achieve strategic objectives. 

  • Optimize processes, methods, and tools used by the group for effective delivery. 

  • Manage and deliver Entertainment and Connected Services software solutions and projects efficiently. 

 

Main responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure that software development aligns with technology strategies and established processes. 

  • Participate in concept selections and build, grow, and optimize SCRUM teams. 

  • Coach team members in daily activities and support their personal development. 

  • Communicate regularly with the team regarding performance, strategies, and operations. 

  • Manage the budget and cost estimates for the team, representing EACS in larger initiatives. 

  • Develop processes, methods, tools, and standards related to Android software development. 

  • Track operations using KPIs and PIs and actively participate in joint EACS activities. 

  • Foster a positive working environment and support the transition to an agile development organization.

Qualifications: 

 

  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent. 

  • Several years of managerial experience in people or project management. 

  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience in the truck or car industry, particularly in connected services. 

  • Familiarity with agile methods, such as SCRUM and KANBAN. 

  • Experience in IT development and automotive development is a plus.
