The Head of CDC Capability & Operations Enablement defines and continuously improves how the CDC operates by translating incident learnings into standards, playbooks, and onboarding practices. Ensures consistent analyst performance and reduced time to production readiness, in close partnership with CDC Operations & Excellence. 

 

As a member of the CDC management team, this role works in close partnership with the other leaders to continuously improve operational effectiveness, accelerate time to production readiness, and ensures consistent decision-making and performance in live operational scenarios.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Standards & Ways of Working 
    Define how analysts operate across roles and levels. Turn incident learnings into practical working methods. 
  • Onboarding to Production 
    Build structured onboarding enabling analysts to perform effectively in live operations. 
  • Continuous Improvement 
    Drive the loop: incident → learning → updated standards → rollout. 
  • Consistency & Quality 
    Drive consistent decision-making and behavior across analysts, particularly in high-pressure and complex situations. 
  • Capability Oversight 
    Identify gaps and drive targeted enablement (training as one lever). 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration 
    Work with Operations & Excellence, IR, TI, Engineering, and People & Culture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience from SOC, IR, or cyber defense operations 
  • Strong understanding of real-world analyst workflows 
  • Ability to translate experience into standards and improvements 
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills

We, at Enterprise Cyber Security , are on a mission to secure the IT journey for the Volvo Group. We work closely together with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Divisions(DVs). While the BAs are responsible for driving the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic direction, and have global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance and security. 

With Enterprise Cyber Security, you will be part of Group Digital Technology and Operations. A global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust each other, and embrace change to stay ahead. Enterprise Cyber Security (ECS) works in close collaboration with other security functions within TD’s, BAs and DVs. Together we work to build a security posture that is best in class.
