What you will do

As an Internal Control and Risk Analyst at Volvo Penta, you will be responsible for performing internal control activities and audits, either independently, alongside your manager, or as part of a cross-functional team. This work involves reviewing processes and operations, examining financial transactions, and conducting ad hoc investigations. You will provide management with detailed analyses derived from internal audits, report any non-conformities, and ensure follow-up on corrective actions. In addition, you will drive process improvements and enhance instructions based on audit findings, while performing compliance-related control activities in collaboration with the Legal and Compliance function. You will also implement and manage enterprise risk management programs and reporting, and provide support to the VP of Global Governance, Risk, Credit & Control as needed within their area of responsibility.

 

Your future team 

You will be part of Volvo Penta Business Office and report to the Vice President Governance, Risk, Credit & Control. In your daily work, you will have close cooperation with business controllers, line managers and subject matter experts across Volvo Penta globally. In addition, you will participate in a network of internal control and risk management professionals across several TD/BA/GF within Volvo Group.

  • University degree in Finance/Business Administration. At least 5 years of working experience within the financial area or at least 3 years in relevant areas.  
  • Very high level of Integrity, and respect for confidentiality. 
  • Self-driven and independent, with proactive behavior. 
  • Result oriented, good business understanding, structured and analytical. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems, preferably SAP, and good accounting knowledge.
