Role Overview:
This is an unpaid internship at Volvo Group, designed for someone who wants to build practical skills, work with experienced colleagues, and begin a career in a meaningful and international setting.
As an intern in the Solution Engineering Chapter - Retail & Wholesale , you will be part of a team that supports digital delivery across markets. You will contribute with analytical thinking, structure, and fresh perspectives to work that has real impact on internal teams and global operations.
This internship is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and learning by doing. You will work across different tasks and stay in close communication with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners across markets. In this role, communication and coordination are key. You will also gain insight into how IT operations, business stakeholders, external vendors, and VFS work together in a truly international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the chapter, you will:
- Register, review, track, and follow up on tickets in ServiceNow and vendor reporting systems
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Ensure tickets are correctly received, categorized, documented, and progressed according to agreed processes
- Maintain high data quality, consistency, and reliability across support and reporting systems
- Support service transparency through structured tracking, reporting, process flows and documentation
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and simplification
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Create clear and professional reporting materials, templates, presentations, and communications
- Support broader operational and coordination activities within the chapter
- Track and follow up on technical tasks, milestones, and deliverables
- Help ensure clear visibility of progress, blockers, and dependencies
- Coordinate daily and weekly follow-ups with technical teams

Skills & Competencies
We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, and eager to learn in a technical and global environment.
You are likely to have:
- A strong interest in IT, digital operations, or technical support
- An understanding of IT Service Management, such as ITIL, is a plus
- A problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Fluent English, written and spoken
